The experience
Waheed Ahmed Butt has been in business since the 1990s, and he has done almost everything. He has made thread and shoes, manufactured PVC pipes and kites, run a rent a car business, put money to work through investment funds, and raised cattle and run dairy. Every one of those taught him something, and none of it came from a classroom. He knows what a market feels like when it turns, and what it takes to keep going.
The innovation
Syed Sarmad Ali is a strategist, a builder and an entrepreneur at heart. Trained at the University of Newcastle, Australia, with dual masters degrees in business and marketing and a foundation in engineering, he thinks in systems and in stories. As a Chartered Marketer (MCIM) and independent business and marketing consultant, he has advised over 100 companies across the globe, shaping growth strategy, brand positioning and go-to-market plans that win in crowded markets. Recognised internationally, and driven by a hunger to create things of his own, he now brings that global playbook, and a restless thirst for innovation, to the family business.

Resil Ventures is a family-backed group of three businesses in Punjab, Pakistan: Resil Feeds (Sultan Wanda cattle feed), Resil Kites (kites and dor) and Resil Threads (custom cotton thread).
Sultan Wanda is the cattle feed brand of Resil Feeds, made at our factories in Nankana Sahib and Lahore for dairy cows and buffaloes, bulls and male buffaloes, and calves (calf starter coming soon). It is sold in 40 kg bags to farmers, dealers and shops.

Resil Kites sells kites (guddi, patang, pauna tawa, tawa and dedh tawa) and 100% pure cotton dor for Basant. The dor comes in three grades: Resil Classic (essential), Resil Gold and Resil Royal (most prestigious). Custom dor orders are also taken. It is a registered manufacturer under the Punjab Regulation of Kite Flying Ordinance, 2025.
Resil Threads makes 100% pure cotton thread to order for industrial use, with in-house glazing.
The feeds come in 40 kg bags. The calf starter will come in a 20 kg bag.
